Artifact 2: Discussion 1 – Interactive Science Lesson Using PhET Simulation
Course: MEDT 7476: Visual and Media Literacy for Teaching and Learning
Description:
The artifact consists of a technology-enhanced lesson plan for 2nd-grade science that utilizes PhET's "States of Matter" interactive simulation. The lesson had students explore material transformations, record observations, and make a digital slideshow. This artifact shows my ability to manage and support dynamic, technology-rich instructional settings. In addition, the interactive nature of the lesson not only enhanced students' understanding of scientific concepts but also provides a valuable insight into how to optimize technology integration in the classroom.
