Artifact 1: Discussion – TPACK and SAMR Models in Technology Integration
Course: MEDT 8462: Leading & Managing Instructional Tech
Description:
I used the TPACK and SAMR frameworks to redesign a sight words lesson in this discussion post. I explained how the lesson progresses from a traditional paper-based approach to one where students type their sight words on a Chromebook, get interactive feedback from an app, record themselves reading, and finally work on a video project with their peers. This artifact shows my ability to reimagine instructional strategies through the lens of digital transformation, making sure that learning experiences are both engaging and tailored to the needs of students.
